Firhill for thrills and points- hopefully

Evening and happy weekend to Aussie Kiwi Hoops fans. Good morning Britain as Edwin Collins once said.

So tomorrow morning, after walking Hoopy the dog it will be settling in front of the telly to hopefully watch Celtic pick up another victory. With the distraction of Europe safely behind us ( qualification next year for sure) we must face the challenge of a fired up Thistle and their scary/ weird mascot!!

It is such a joy to see the Celtic play this season and on Tuesday we played some lovely stuff.Playing out from the back looks so good and just helps us keep possession against good teams. I really think Broony is in the form of his life, he is imperious in Europe but what about Stuart Armstrong??? Wow.It is phenomenal to see him running forward from deep positions and he puts in a great amount of work. I rate big Nir but he will do well to sit on the bench and take note of the work that the midfielders and wingers are doing for the team. Impressive stuff!

The games have been coming thick and fast and it would be no surprise to see a few changes. I personally would give Moussa a wee rest and give Leigh a run. It is evident that Brendan seems reluctant to play two through the middle so why not give the Griff a start?

I am not sure if Jamesy is fit and Scott Sinclair may be a wee while yet so after an impressive cameo ( and a fantastic chance to score) v Citeh will GMS get a start?

Watching Celtic on a Saturday morning can really set up the weekend and if we can guard against complacency  and match the Jags for effort we should have too much quality. Brendan will be telling the players we proved ourselves against some European big guns so go and do it against the Harry Wraggs ( oh the Glasgow banter!!) Copyright Chewin The Fat

Have a great weekend everyone!!
